Little Knights and Rothenburg

We kind of lost track of our blog towards the end of our European trip, but I stumbled upon these photos when configuring my new computer yesterday.  They are of beautiful Rothenburg in Germany.  This is the last town we stayed in before heading home - and we did certainly save the best til last!

Rothenburg is a perfectly preserved Medieval town.  Sure it is touristy and very busy during the day, but there is good reason for that, it is beautiful, unique and amazing!

Not only did we love this town, so did our 5 year old.  This town is every boy's dream!  Surrounded by a    Medieval castle wall,  it also has a torture museum, dungeons to visit, and stores full to the brim with knights and armour and swords!

You can see our little knight above!

Ofcourse my favourite part of the visit, all the beautiful snow!
